SEPA Credit Transfer File Converter
         Convert EMT Files into SEPA XML Compliant Files

Since the implementation of SEPA in 2014 the banks in Ireland continued to accept the older .emt files for Credit Transfers and converted them to the SEPA format internally.  From 1st February 2016 some banks are withdrawing this service and others have said they will be withdrawing it in the future but not specified when.

Many organisations have developed their own applications for creating the .emt credit transfer format of file as it is quite simple in structure.  These organisations will be affected by the withdrawal of the banks' conversion service.

To assist such organisations we offer the “SEPA Converter” application. This application will import a legacy format .emt file and convert this into the SEPA XML format file. The conversion can be achieved with only three mouse clicks.
